Growing up as an avid gamer, I was always told one thing. “You will never be able to make money by playing games.” I was told this by parents, grandparents, coaches, and teachers. Guess the jokes on them huh?
In this day in age, there are many ways that a gamer can make money by playing games. The amount of money has increased steadily over the years and now there doesn’t appear to be an end in sight for how much someone can make from playing video games. There are currently gamers out there making hundreds of thousands a year doing what they love to do, and now, you can start on that path as well.
In this book, I will go over several ways that you, a casual gamer, can turn your passion into a career, or at the very least, a well-paying job. Nothing I will go over is a huge secret, but I will put everything I have learned over the years into one source that you can use at your leisure. You may be asking yourself, “what makes this guy qualified to give me this advice?”
Honestly, nothing by itself qualifies me to try and teach you anything. I’m just like many of you, I’m a gamer that would love to be able to make a living for myself and my family by playing the games that I love. I’m also a writer, so I’m able to take everything that I’ve picked up online over the last few years and put it all into book format for you all to enjoy.
In this book, we will cover the big sources of income for gamers. Those are becoming an eSports player, a Youtube star, or a streaming personality. The good thing about all these things is that you don’t just have to focus on one aspect. In fact, if you do one, you can do two or all three at once if you’re really good at your chosen game.
So sit back and enjoy yourself. Read this book in its entirety or just the sections that you feel pertain to you.
